Where on Earth is Boyoma?

The island is 105 hectares in size and is located 30 km from Kisangani (formerly Stanleyville) and lies in the Congo River, opposite the village of Sinia. - This part of Africa is one immense jungle. A major threat to the wildlife here (as well as in forests elsewhere) is logging and the destruction of the animals’ habitat. But the main risk is from poaching animals for bushmeat.
